What is coaching?The International Coaching Federation (ICF) defines coaching as “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.”
Coaching is a collaborative and structured process that creates a supportive and confidential space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what matters to you. It can help you gain clarity, deepen self-awareness, and move forward with more intention.
Who do you work with?I work with women navigating change, especially around relocation, identity, routines, life transitions, and career direction. Many of my clients come to coaching when life feels unfamiliar, unsettled, or disconnected, and they want to feel more grounded, more like themselves again, and ready to take small, intentional steps forward.
How is coaching different from therapy?Coaching is not therapy, consulting, or advice-giving. It is a collaborative process focused on the present and future, helping you reflect, deepen self-awareness, and move forward in a way that feels aligned with you.
Therapy may be more appropriate for mental health concerns, trauma, or deeper emotional healing, while consulting usually involves expert guidance and recommended solutions.
In coaching, the focus is not on telling you what to do, but on supporting you in finding your own clarity, direction, and next steps.
What can I bring to coaching?You can bring any topic that feels important to you. This may include adjusting to a new country or environment, rebuilding structure, decision-making, confidence, boundaries, career questions, or wanting to feel more like yourself again. You do not need to have everything clearly figured out before you begin.
How do sessions work?Sessions are 75 minutes and are available online via Zoom or in person in Zürich. I offer coaching in English and Russian. Each session begins with what feels most important for you, and from there we explore your thoughts, insights, and next steps together.
